Child's Chair

This is the toddler sized chair that Grandpa made for most of the older Grandchildren.  This isn't complete enough to perfectly replicate the chair, but it is a start!

Pattern for the chair:  Chair design back, Chair design side, Chair seat 1, Chair seat 2.

12" Horse Pattern

This is the 24" wooden horse that I've seen in a few Williams" houses, and is cut from 1/2" board and painted black.

Grandpa's notes on the pattern:

"Horse- copied from weather vane from the old barn, Detroit, Maine by EE Libbey.  EEL made copy 1953 for BEW.  This pattern made Dec 1984 from EEL wood horse by G Dean Williams."

In talking with Grandma (Betsey Williams) May 29, 2013, she tells me that my great-grandfather (EEL or Everett Libbey) traced the horse from a wooden weather vane that was on his barn.  He then made a black wooden (1/2 inch thick) horse that he gave to Dean and Betsey as a wedding present in the the early 1940s.  Dean created this pattern from that horse.
